Samson cigarettes got their name in honor of the Turkish city of Samsun. Its homeland is the Black Sea coast. The variety of tobacco used for the production of Samson cigarettes is famous for its mild aroma. Its leaves are small in size, but of high density and elasticity, contain a large amount of sugars.
Mixtures of oriental and Asian tobaccos are contained in the composition of Samson cigarettes, which give them harmony and softness, and play the role of a connecting link in the combination of aromas. Description of the Samson cigarettes tobacco variety. The tobacco is the most famous oriental. The best results in cultivation are achieved in its homeland – in Turkey. However, the variety is early-ripe, and is successfully grown all over the world.
Samson cigarettes tobacco differs from most varieties in that it has a petiole leaf. This plant has a cylindrical shape, and an average height of 100-150 cm. The leaves are not large, medium-sized, dark green in color, resinous and have a wing shape. They are very thin but elastic, with small veins that are almost invisible. On the obverse side, the leaf is slightly wavy. This type of tobacco has high nicotine content, hence its frequent use as a mono tobacco.
The leaves are saturated with essential oils that give tobacco an original spicy aroma and taste, as well as slow burning, perfect smoldering, and therefore Samsun is part of most hookah mixtures and acts as an aromatic component in cigarette and pipe tobacco. This variety is perfectly combined with the varieties of Burley and Virginia, which have poor combustion. Therefore, Samson cigarettes bring harmony to the flavor and eliminate the sharpness of the filler.
Seedlings of this tobacco are sown in March-April. Before sowing, slightly moist soil should be placed in the container (three parts of sandy turf earth and one part of well-digested and sifted humus). The surface must be compacted and leveled, and then distribute the seeds evenly over it, slightly pressing them into the substrate, moistened from a spray gun and covered with a film. Then place the crops in a warm and bright place, water them through a pallet and ventilate them daily, raising the film for half an hour.
